Automotive Gas & Oils (AGO)

Gasoline, Petroleum Spirit, Petrol or Petro-Gasoline is a liquid mixture primarily used as fuel in internal combustion engines. It is petroleum-derived, and consists mostly of aliphatic hydrocarbons, enhanced with Iso-Octane or the Aromatic Hydrocarbons Toluene and Benzene to increase its octane rating.

 

 

Bonny Light Crude Oil (BLCO)

Bonny Light Crude Oil is a high grade of Nigerian Crude Oil with high API gravity (low specific gravity), produced in the Niger Delta basin and named after the prolific region around the city of Bonny. The very low sulfur content of Bonny Light Crude Oil makes it a highly desired grade for its low corrosiveness to refinery infrastructure and the lower environmental impact of its byproducts in refinery effluent.

 

 

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a fossil fuel substitute for gasoline (petrol), diesel, or propane fuel. Although its combustion does produce greenhouse gases, it is a more environmentally clean alternative to most other fuels, and it is much safer than other fuels in the event of a spill (natural gas is lighter than air, but disperses quickly when released). CNG is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed of methane [CH4]), to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure. It is stored and distributed in hard containers, at a normal pressure of 200–220 bar (2900–3200 psi), usually in cylindrical or spherical shapes.

 

Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK)

Kerosene is widely used to power jet-engine aircrafts (via Jet fuel) and some rockets, but is also commonly used as a heating fuel.

Heavy or Extra Heavy Crude Oil (HCO)

Heavy or Extra Heavy Crude Oil comprise of those crude oil that do not flow easily. It is referred to as "heavy" because its density or specific gravity is higher than of light crude oil. Heavy crude oil has been defined as any liquid petroleum with an API gravity less than 20°[1] meaning that its specific gravity is greater than 0.933.
Jet Fuel (JP54)

Kerosene-type high-quality kerosene product used primarily as fuel for commercial turbojet and turboprop aircraft engines.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)

Liquefied natural gas or LNG is natural gas (primarily methane, CH4) that has been converted to liquid form for ease of storage or transport. Liquefied Natural Gas takes up about 1/600th the volume of natural gas at a stove burner tip. It is odorless, colorless, non-toxic and non-corrosive.

MAZUT

Mazut is a heavy, low quality fuel oil, used in generating plants and similar applications. When blended, the end product is Diesel.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG, GPL, LP Gas, or Autogas)

LPG is synthesized by refining petroleum or 'wet' natural gas. It was first produced in 1910 by Dr. Walter Snelling, and the first commercial products appeared in 1912. It currently provides about 3% of the energy consumed.
